<p>Are the people in Vanderbilt generally the rich and fake type that I am anticipating? I know that not every single person would be that way I am just looking for a general idea of what they are like</p>
<p>No truly rich person goes to Vanderbilt( except if you’s pappy owns an multi million dollar company) they are mostly upper middle class kids, yes they will have bank rolls, BUT they doesnt make them fake, and you could be good friends with them if you dont put them under the rich/fake stereotype</p>
<p>I have vistited Vanderbilt many times and have never encountered anyone rude. I know what you may be thinking “sure the tour guides are going to be nice but what about the normal kids”
During my last visit I took a run on campus early in the day to observe what really goes on and I was amazed. Everyone is so respectful. At one point I pulled out a map and was offered help many times. I hate the rumor that Vandy is full of rich snobs because it is not like that at all.</p>
