<p>What an awesome start to their SEC season - Vanderbilt beat Ole Miss this afternoon and looks poised to break into the top 25 this week! As a UK alum, I know what a feat it is to win at Rupp and these guys have just kept pouring it on this week. I hope my Wildcats will return to form tomorrow against UT (the common thread among UK and Vanderbilt fans is a mutual dislike of this foe!), but in the meantime, it is sure fun watching the Commodores!</p>
<p>The team is on fire! We're now ranked in the AP poll (#24).</p>
<p>They are? That's awesome! I was sure that the early season losses to Appalachian State, Furman, and Wake Forest would still be a thorn-in-the-side in terms of rankings.</p>

<p>Storming the court was worth at least $25,000. That was probably the best athletic experience of my life.</p>
<p>One Vandy alum I know has suggested that it will be easy to pay the fine by just matriculating one more worthy applicant who doesn't need financial aid! This will make for a great tidbit in the Chancellor's graduation address this year. Way to go Dores!</p>
<p>As much as the outcome pains me, today's game between UK and VU had some awesome basketball. I hope these boys will go far into the NCAA tournament.</p>
<p>I just got to the office from the game! It was ANOTHER Memorial thriller. It has been a great season. Also, Vandy Baseball beat Boston College in extras. </p>
