plan on AP calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP gov/econ
all other core classes honors (honors anatomy, chemistry, precalc, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, biology, earth/space science, will be 4 English) </p>

<p>brief ec's: hs softball 3 years (10 years travel and little league)
NHS 2 years
Athletic training 1.5 years
Lots of community service
band 1 year hs 3 years middle school
Volunteer at nursing home
plan on shadowing doctors</p>

<p>your GPA is there, but you will definitely need to increase the SAT score (I don’t know off the top of my head Vandy’s ACT normal range). Make sure you continue you with the volunteering/ e.c’s</p>

<p>All you have to do is boost your SAT over 2000, and you’re in ED. Trust me on that.</p>

<p>I am in absolute disagreement with movieman, and in all honesty, I strongly advice you not to take his/her advice.
Clearly, SAT is not your forte (as compared to the ACT) - retake your ACT and get a 33. OR IF POSSIBLE, SAT to 2200 to have a strong chance to make it in. </p>
