Reasons why I want to go to Vanderbilt: When I visited I loved the campus and I loved the city Nashville! Also one of the few schools that has really good sports and academics. Also they have a really good med school were students can intern or volunteer, and they have a preschool on campus that students can teach at which I think is really cool!
I’m really grateful you made this I’ve been looking for one of these I’m applying Regular Decision but Vanderbilt is definitely my number 1

Reasons why I want to go to Vanderbilt: I love the balance at Vanderbilt between amazing academics but then also from what I’ve heard a great social atmosphere where a lot of people get involved and also having SEC sports doesn’t hurt either. It’s like a mix between a big and a small school which is exactly what I want.
For those of you applying for scholarships, if we already had an additional rec letter on our Common App, will that count (although, to be honest, my additional rec is not related to Ingram or Chancellor’s)? It’s too late for me to ask other people for rec letters now. I need to know whether to put effort into writing the essays for Ingram and Chancellor’s. (Cornelius Vanderbilt needs no rec letter, right?)

for extracurricular elaboration - i wrote about my job
(sorry, don’t want to give too much away)
for everything above, please see my other posts. I was deferred from MIT and I answered these in depth.

Hey, does anyone know when the RD decision is supposed to come out? I know it’s before April 1st, but any speculated date according to the previous pattern?
Question: I think I read that the Cornelius Vanderbilt scholarship awards come out in early March? Is this true—and if so, does that mean that you would know that you got in if you receive this letter BEFORE decisions come out April 1?
