Vanderbilt Class of 2023 EDI Discussion Thread

@andrewa101 what are you on to?

I think I may have a label creation from a package from Vanderbilt @yeet909

@andrewa101 ahh awesome! how do you know it’s from vandy?

@yeet909 I looked up the shipping company “RAPID ENTERPRISES INC college” and an old vanderbilt ed1 thread came up. There’s a very low chance it’s actually from Vandy i just found it odd that the only thing that came up was from Vanderbilt when I didn’t even look up the company with Vanderbilt. That’s why I wanted to see if it is popping up for anyone else.

Ahhh exciting!! Hopefully we’ll know soon

@andrewa101 what are your stats/ECs?

Does everyone else now have the financial aid tab on their application?

There is absolutely no way that any of us can chance anyone for admission to highly selective universities such as Vanderbilt. There are so many factors that go into Vandy’s decisions. In particular, the essay plays a large part. Good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone! I’m currently a freshman at Vandy, but I’m bringing this playlist back for those of you who are super stressed out about decisions right now. :slight_smile: enjoy! https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3mc4JcsPJEfSpHw9ob8pdP

Can anyone tell me if I’m wrong and why?

If you don’t have a package by now/notification through USPS informed delivery you’re rejected. Vanderbilt said on their blog the they mail everything the same day. Plus, on the thread 2 years ago, as far as I know, one kid with the package notification got in and one without got rejected. It does seem to make a lot of sense that Vanderbilt would have out acceptance packages ready to mail.

I didn’t get the notification though informed delivery rip.

Also, for any accepted students, like @annabel101, did you notice a package heading your way a week or so before the decisions release?

@roadrunner0130 not true at all! Please, stop spreading lies on this thread! Vanderbilt does not mail out decision letters until after they have been released online! This is how it is done every year.

Hey what’s up guys, I’m also a senior who applied ED1 and I’m crazy nervous! I keep checking the portal compulsively even though I know decisions won’t be out until the 13th probably lol. Wish y’all the best!

apparently in past years people thought the same thing with USPS delivery status but it didn’t end up being true for everyone and didn’t really make sense since the notification came out online first

will decisions be out dec 14 at 5:30?
