I just read an article that says if things stay the same as other years it would mean that less than 300 applicants will be accepted out of around 2,349 applications

D’s best friend rejected. Was actually at our house opening portal. Sibling legacy, 1530 SAT, 4.3W. Captain two sports, good research at local hospital.
Sounds like ED2 this year had VERY few spots available. It’s going to be interesting, because the ED1 stats were accidentally posted, on how low the acceptance rate was for this round. I suspect it will be in the very low teens (or lower). Might very well impact the quality of applicants in coming years, as for great students there likely won’t be enough of a bump to apply ED as opposed to RD. Not sure Vandy cares much, but certainly will show what many people have assumed- that ED2 at Vandy is borderline impossible.
