<p>Is there any difference between early decision 1 and 2 at Vanderbilt? I've heard that fewer people apply ED 2. Anyone have thoughts/experience with this? Here's what I have, let me know if you think i've got a shot.
32 ACT (10 on essay)
2170/1420 SAT (10 essay)
4.2 GPA (kind of low, but I attend a really hard private school-- the best in my state-- and I think my college counselor will explain this in his recommendation)
Took hardest available classes freshman through senior year
7 APs: US History (5 on exam) Spanish V (4 on exam) English language/comp (5 on exam) and then senior year im taking AP biology, Ap english, AP Calculus AB, and AP modern european.
Up-trending GPA (3.8 freshman year to 4.2 junior year)
Studied at Cambridge in england for one summer and did exchange trip to Latin America
200 service hours (40 of which were completed at an inner city hospital)</p>
<p>if you are hesitant at all, then i would apply ed ii. i think you have a great shot if you write some great essays!</p>
