@em2016 Distracting is exactly the word. If we had a date then I could put it out of sight, out of mind until then, but guessing makes it distracting

It’s not even the anxiety about whether I’m gonna get in or not at this point it’s just the feeling of waiting. Just finished the Game of Thrones books and I don’t have anything to distract me anymore, these next three days are gonna feel like forever 
Super new here but also super stressed
With only a best of 1400 on the new SAT should I give up hope? I’m going for political science, and have been on my mock trial team for the past 4 years. Last year we won our first ever county championship and I just have a natural interest in law. I got a 720 in math and a 680 in reading with a 36 as my reading score. I’m really hoping my extracurriculars made me competitive. I also sing in my school’s select choir and concert choir as well as performing in our schools’ shows (I’ve been a lead three times). Am I competitive for acceptance or no? Just stressin’ like the rest of y’all.

@FrostyMintz You’re probably fine. Scores are low but not so low that you’re out of the picture completely. I’d say like a 40/60 chance.

Also @FrostyMintz although your SAT is on the lower side, if you have a strong essay and supplement and letters of rec I think you still are competitive
Is a 3.57 GPA a deal breaker? I do have an upward trend, an explanation for my low freshman grades, amazing ECs (DECA International 2nd place, Stanford internship, venture capital internship, etc to name just a few), and a 36 ACT.
@BayArea123456 With your ECs and an explanation and upward trend I highly doubt it’s a deal breaker! Vandy takes pride in the fact they look for reasons to accept you not reject you!
Hey guys, I’m new here. Just joined cc community. I read through the whole thread for both ed 2020 and ed 2021. Rlly Rlly nervous. I have nervous breakdowns/depressive episodes every night before I sleep. I just need peace of mind, but my stats are just so so bad.
