Some colleges stresses sterling standadized test scores while others prefer those with high GPAs. What do you guys think Vandy focus on ? GPA/ Academic award/ Standadized testing/ ECs or the essays ?
( I know they take a holistic approach but i have heard somewhere that these kinds of preferences do exist)
Vandy is definitely really scores focused. If you have a high score, this will boost your application up a lot for them. But they care about everything else as well. They’re really selective (unfortunately) so they take everything into account!
And @dolce123 your chances are excellent. You have worked hard and succeeded, now all we have to do is continue the horrible waiting period!

It’s a nerve wracking experience, and you just have to remind yourself that wherever you end up, that’s where you’re suppose to go.
