Now for the wait
Haha yep! how bad could 2 months be?
Oh man, I’m already starting to get nervous and I haven’t even submitted the app yet.

I’m not sure if I should apply ED2 or Regular Decision. I loved Vanderbilt enough to ED, but I am a fickle person and usually do not like to commit to things without knowing all of my options. I am a girl from NE applying to the engineering school. Do I have a chance of getting in RD?

SAT II: 730 Math 2, 730 Chemistry, 700 Biology
GPA: 4.52/4 (Weighted)
Rank: 10/268
Classes this year: AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, AP English Literature, AP Spanish, AP Computer Science
I have been involved in community service all of my high school career and am president of two clubs.
Help!!
hey guys!! i’m also a possible ed2 applicant (if i get rejected from nu ed lol). how many people usually apply ed2 do you think??
@universitygirl4 from what ive read and heard from a vanderbilt admissions officer the acceptance rates for rd and edII are the same-- its only ed1 that gives an advantage. so your chances will be the same if you apply rd
SAT 1580 out of 1600 , 2330 out of 2400
Subject Tests- Math2 (800), Chem (780), Bio (770)
GPA: 4.2
@plsnu1234 do you think my chances are strong, weak, or average for RD?
@universitygirl4 they seem pretty strong!! but even if you dont get in, you will most likely get into another top school
Do any of you guys know if there is any large advantage to applying ed 2 vs. rd? I read somewhere that the ed2 and rd rates are very very similar.
Hi y’all, just dropping in to say good luck! I was just admitted to Vandy ED1 so I’m still a little bit in shock but I am super excited to have some of you as my classmates next year!
I have a 4.0 UW GPA but only a 30 ACT with a 36 on writing. Do I have any chance for ED 2?
30 ACT is low, but crazier things have happened
Low for vandy. Its an excellent score in the big picture
@XCjunior2016 it would be much higher but my low reading and science scores dragged my composite down. I got a 35 in English and a 33 in math.
Is a 33 ACT for vandy ok?
@mat324 absolutely! the middle 50% for their act scores in 32-34 I believe
