@frazzledsenior17 do u know what the instagram handle was?
@frazzledsenior17 @tylerperez12 @Yman66 Also did you guys follow any official Vanderbilt social media before they followed you? Just trying to figure out if this could have prompted a follow
Well this is weird. I never got followed by any Vandy account and am now getting worried.
I can’t help but wonder why a college would ever try and pull something like this off.
Weird.

rlyrly anxious for decisions D:
do you guys think less people applied ed 2 than ed 1? Also, do they accept 400 people each time?
You have to ask yourself, does it matter? Vanderbilt is only going to accept the most qualified candidates, whoever those people may be. They claim to judge ed 1&2 the same, so there is no point in freaking out over whatever minute difference there is between the two. You are already at an advantage by applying ed at all. My guess, however, is that it’s about a 60/40 split from 1 to 2. I feel ed2 probably has a greater difference in the quality of applicant than ed1, because ed2 has people who got shot down from the big ivies as well as the rest of the applicants. Just my 2 cents
@stressedsenior99 I think ED2 is consistently less people than ED 1
@Yman66
The similar thing happened to me also. A week ago the vanderbilt licensing account started followingetting me.
Ugh the wait is driving me crazy. I think decisions will definitely be out by Monday or Tuesday tho…talk about longest weekend ever.
@harveyspectator no, I didn’t interview(I don’t live in Mumbai or Delhi)…

The thing that I’m really hoping would work as a hook is that a student got admitted from my school last year who’s involvements were somewhat similar as mine. He was 10000x better and more involved at debate but hopefully the admissions sees that really vague connection when they compare admitted students from past years with me?
This anxiety is killing me
@stressedsenior99 Hey! I was following Vandy on Twitter from a long time ago. Don’t be stressed, all will be right. It may just be promotion technique to sell their stuff.
@“Sheel Patel” did you participate in their scarf competition? For others, it was a competition where you had to RT and tell them how this cool scarf was better fit for you than for Mrs. Martha Ingram. And then you could get a chance to win
Vanderbilt accepts only ~20% of its ED2 applicants. Why does it look like 90% of those going to be accepted are on this sub?
Where my poor GPA and <32 ACT homies at?
The Class of 2021 Vandy Facebook group has 550 people.
Vandy accepts approximately 800 in ED.
So are we all fighting for just 250 spots? Less than half of what ED1 fought for? Damn.
@harveyspectator Haha, I have a 31 on ACT and about 80%, so yeah here’s your low GPA homie.
Oh man. Really.
Hey! Anyone of you deeply into music? Looks like Vandy cares a lot about music even if you don’t apply to Blair. Taylor Swift lives in a condo just overlooking the commons!
