I called admissions today. They said, and I quote “Decisions will be released the week of February 15th”.

Let the hype train begin again.

Just wondering, @tylerperez12 how does your GPA scale work?
How does one get a 5.2 on a 4 point scale? This gets so complicated-no wonder schools use unweighted GPA and then add back for rigor in their own way.

+1 for Honors Classes, +2 for AP Classes @dragonmom3

Haha to be honest I don’t understand how you all can analyze this so much and not get even more stressed out. I’m also an ED2 applicant and I’m super anxious, but reading this whole thread may give me a heart attack! I’ve already sweat through like 10 shirts. But seriously, good luck everybody! Kinda feel like a small fish in a big pond with so many impressive people.

@svithy you’re not alone mate. Best we can do now is to just hope we were able to portray the best version of ourselves on the application.

@tylerperez12 Insane EC’s and Work Experience. (+10 for interning with Hillary and not … the other guy…) Vandy likes to diversify so maybe that could help you (?)

You can’t stress over things like whether or not a Vandy account followed you or how many people are in that facebook page. Remember that we are ED2 applicants, making us a very valuable group of people to the admissions committee. We will have the fairest and truest shot at an acceptance but you won’t know if you got in for a few days so take a breath!!

@jkgreen27 did you send in your SAT scores to Vandy too?
Asking since I reported my SAT scores to Vandy on my CommonApp (But didn’t send them in) even though my ACT was much better. Will this negatively affect me or will Vandy just look at the greater of the two scores?

@harveyspectator I sent them through the collegeboard system and it comes up as checked off on the app check list. If yours is checked on myappvu then there’s nothing to worry about

@harveyspectator and the reason I sent them was because comparatively my math is better on my sat as a percentile and it wasn’t horrible so it’s ok I think

Does anyone’s sat subject tests show up on the portal?

@harveyspectator Thank You! I am really hoping Vanderbilt turns out to be as holistic as they say, I am not expecting to get in however. Good Luck to you!

Hey guys! I got in ED1 a couple of months ago. I hope I see all of you at Vandy this fall! One small tip : When 5:30 rolls around on the decision day, log into your account a couple of seconds after they come out. If you’re already logged in and you try to refresh it, the decision doesn’t turn up, at least in my experience.

Looking at all these ED2 schools getting released and we just waiting here like tik tok tik tok

if i don’t get in i’m gonna tell vandy to cash me ousside how bow dah?

@student2021 thanks! Hopefully all of us will be able to greet each other as commodores in a few days

On a side note, everyday I try to take a nap around this time so that I don’t have to anxiously wait for an email. It works pretty well!

@stressedsenior99 The SAT Subject tests are not compulsory for an application so they aren’t going to be reflected in MyAppVU.
