vanderbilt ed2

Hi, I sent in my application for Vandy EDII. I am curious what my chances are- I know it is very much a reach, but I would give anything to get in.

SAT: (this is the reason I think I will get denied) superscore 2080. reading: 670 math: 680 writing: 730. I took it again in December and pray I did better.
GPA: 4.3 weighted, around 3.9 unweighted.
Junior/Senior Year courseload: I am in the IB diploma programme at my school.
Junior: IB Math HL I , IB English HL I, AP Physics I, IB Economics SL, IB Latin SL I, IB World Religions SL I, IB Theory of Knowledge I
Senior: IB Math HL II, IB English HL II, IB Physics HL II, AP Statistics, IB Latin SL II, IB World Religions SL II, IB Theory of Knowledge II
Note: I took all honors/ some AP freshman and sophomore year and got mostly As with a few Bs/B+s here and there. Junior year, I got all As, so there is an upward trend in my transcript.

-I have done various service, but the most important one to me is KEEN, which I do 6 hrs/mo. I work with disabled children and teens 1 v 1 and form relationships. I wrote my supplemental about this because I love it.
work experience:
-babysit for 5-15 hrs/wkj
-lifeguard in summer for about 25-30 hr/wk, promoted to operator this past summer

I think my teacher/counselor recs are pretty good.

I am also interviewing. Will that help my chances?

Please let me know what you think. I feel confident in everything about my application other than my SAT scores, but I know those are extremely important. I feel that overall I have about a 15% chance…

other schools:
Georgia (got in)
Georgia Tech
Michigan
UMD
UVA
Virginia Tech

got into Georgia with a scholarship^ dont know if that matters

also- applied to school of engineering…dont know if that makes a difference, as I’m a girl applying to engineering…

You have a shot, but your scores will hurt you. Vandy is big on high scores
