I applied Peabody! My interview is next week.

None of the alums I contacted replied… I blame Sandy. How did your guidance counselors submit your ED agreements? Mine said that she scanned it…

So far no alum has replied yet here either! Very frustrating! Going to try again tomorrow, since another week has passed.

I had mine on Monday with the only alum in my area, it went really well! He was a really friendly guy, and it was a very relaxed and personal interview. Good luck to everyone!

I applied to A&S, interviewing on Sunday!

@cinnadar did you have to answer questions like “Why Vanderbilt?” or “What sets you apart?” ? Or was it a lot more relaxed and easy going?

Yeah, what was the interview like? What kind of questions did they ask?

hey everyone! i also applied ED to A&S hoping to major in medicine, health, and society. good luck to everyone!! fingers crossed for december 15th!!

Also- does anyone think that an applicant with a 29 or 30 on the ACT has any chance at all?

I mean, if you have great grades and ECs then I think someone with a 29 or 30 would definitely be put into the discussion. However, it is in the lower 25% and it will not boost your app. I’m kind of in the same situation with a 31. If the other parts of your app stand out, then you will definitely have a chance. The process is holistic.

thanks persiandad! good luck to you :)

Anybody else receive an email indicating missing official scores? I sent mine in a couple weeks ago… I was just wondering if it was like this for everybody or just me.

Vanderbilt receives scores on paper. I rush-reported mine so they would arrive on time. You should probably be okay in a couple of days.

Visited campus this weekend and it solidified my belief that I cannot see myself anywhere else. I love this school. And my interview is today! So excited :)

@Medocrityiskey i got the same email… when did you send yours?

Hey, I found this 2012 Admission Decisions - Google Drive;

Anyone want to post their stats?

I was checking dates and deadlines the other day and noticed that
Vanderbilt wanted the CSS profile submitted on Nov. 5th for ED! I hadn’t turned it in for my daughter yet, but emailed her admissions counselor that I had overlooked that. It’s turned in now, but she said she was glad I caught it. Just thought I’d throw that our there in case anyone else hadn’t looked at financial aid deadlines. My oldest didn’t have to submit hers at
Vanderbilt till after she was accepted, so I didn’t even look!

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted on this thread yet, but I applied ED to Arts & Sciences. I received an email about 2 weeks ago that my app was complete and ready for review. A few days ago my school released our first quarter grades, and I didn’t submit those for my application, but does anybody know if they’re required? I didn’t think they were, considering I got an email saying that my app was complete and I hadn’t sent them. I got straight As, so I was hoping they would help even if they weren’t required. Any opinions? Has anyone sent their first quarter grades?

My daughter did since these are the best grades of all the years.

i applied to Peabody…also my friend applied ED2 last year and received her acceptance letter almost a week before the date that was given
