Son got his letter today, gold envelope, accepted! ACT 33, GPA 4.5 W, NMSF. Not a ton of EC’s except football all 4 years which IS very time consuming, and they did win 3A State. Also karate 6 years, brown belt now, almost to black. White male, New Mexico. Will major in Neuroscience. Congrats to those who made it, very sorry to those who didn’t, seems like everyone here is amazing and would do well at Vandy or wherever your paths take you. Good luck all!

Got my acceptance today, right at the same time as one of my best friends got accepted to Yale. It was legit. And then we went to see the Hobbit (which was not nearly as good as the LOTR trilogy, but still worth the $10). My stats are somewhere around page 8, but they’re rather average compared to others on here. I’m also a pretty athletically focused kind of guy, instead of an academically focused guy, so I was pretty surprised. Regardless, I’m stoked.

Anyway, my question for the community of '17 is what do we do next. Like I read the stuff and I know we have to mail in the matriculation fee, but what after that? I’d rather not forget something and screw up my chance of attending my dream school. Lolz.
