I’m pretty sure that if you’re accepted then a big message displays with your name and a congratulations, but if you aren’t accepted they give you one of those “we regret to inform you” type letters when you open your portal and click the update.
^^^I don’t think so @Quakerdude some people have been rejected with the big message that displays your name. Don’t let that excite you…
@“College? Nah…” Is this sarcasm or serious? That would be a big tease if they did that just to display below it that you didn’t get in lol.
Oh geez that’s terrible, they’d better not do that because I would be so disappointed ? I applied as a freshman and my rejection was just the letter and didn’t at all get my hopes up so hopefully that’s the case again for transfers too.
I think they did that on accident this year, like it was a glitch. I remember they fixed it an hour later but im not 100% sure
Wow, that’s a terrible mistake ?
If decisions come out this week, I’ll have mine before finals start, which would be a massive load off my back. I can’t imagine my uncertain brain studying for finals while also checking the portal daily and CC hourly.
Hourly? You, normie! How about every minute? XD
I called and they said no decisions today
Theyll be released “at the end of the month”
@OwlOfAthena I actually check it about every 10 minutes lol.
I don’t believe them because they always say a later date to give themselves time and always release it on a earlier date.
So, is it always on Tuesdays, or can it be any day of the week?
@polyscidreamer could be i guess—will it be released central time or eastern time?
From what I understand it could be any day. I saw someone post that in the past it has been on Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays so there’s really no way to know but I do think it would be 5:15 eastern
Why 5:15?
Is it symbolic of something?
I was reading through last year’s CC threads and they all checked their portal at that time and decisions were up, but no one got emails until 5:30. I really don’t know how they figured it out, maybe it was that time other years as well?
I wish they would be like Emory and let us know when the decisions will be posted in advance. This is killing me ?
@Morgan2018 I’ve seen on the threads over the past couple of years that they have gotten them at or around 5:15 EST. Also, @gapyearapplicant I doubt the front desk would actually tell us when exactly they’re going to be released, they could very well be released today (hopefully). If you look on last year’s thread, someone called and was given a date like 20 days later, but decisions came out like the following day.
we’re in the endgame now
