Some schools tend to mostly reject in the first wave of decisions (e.g., Cornell). That’s probably why he asked.
don’t know if anyone here would know anything about this but if decisions aren’t today do we think Michigan would be willing to give a deposit deadline extension?? their deadline is may 1 which is Wednesday
good luck to everyone if decisions are released today!
@user0523 maybe try contacting your AO or transfer admissions and explain the situation?
Wow, that’s really advanced!
That’s too bad about Brown, but I am sure you’ll end up in a great place!
@sharang29 @user0523 I also applied to Michigan and got accepted. I just paid my deposit yesterday because I don’t think that they are that flexible about the deadline
Did you take SAT tests? You’d probably score 900 out of 800 on the Math one. XD
does anyone else have the option to upload CSS/ISFAA under the financial aid section? i dont think i had this option until just now…
I had that option all along.
My application to Vandy is now complete!!!
Are we required to submit financial aid for a complete application? If I submit nothing in terms of financial aid will they assume that I need none?
RichLifeDilemmas
XD
I think all the financial aid stuff (CSS Profile/FAFSA) was due Feb 1 for transfers. You can still probably submit it now, they just won’t give you your financial aid package with your decision. Otherwise they assume you do not need financial aid.
@IndirectProofs rooting for u!
Also guys when I called last week they said the first wave will come by the end of the month. I’m recalling thinking it’ll be today
@Quakerdude I submitted nothing-I’m pretty sure it’s not relevant for the completion of your app they’ll just figure you don’t need it
@OwlOfAthena lol im not rich, i was just checking to see if i would receive a package with my decision or not based upon when it was submitted.
Yes, they will. You’ll still be considered for merit based scholarship I think. But I don’t think they are that generous to transfer students.
@karlmarxismydad several people have called and received different answers - I’m not sure what to believe that this point.
@gumgum123 Vanderbilt’s admissions blog said, “Potential transfer students should note, however, that merit-based aid is not available to transfer applicants.”
