is there anyone on this thread that’s a current transfer student at Vandy? looking for some insight into adjusting to new life, transfer stigma, getting involved, etc etc!
I submitted my application a couple of days after March 15th, still haven’t heard back yet. When should I expect to hear back?? It’s hard to make other plans.
I submitted mine March 6th and still haven’t heard back. @stringtheories
I heard we hear back before the end of may
I think they overestimate when they inform people over the phone though. My guess would be by the end of this week as those who were accepted through the first wave had to pay their deposits by last week.
my admissions counselor said she doesn’t know when the next wave comes out. But, she thinks within “the next few weeks”
does anyone know if they are going to accept people from the waitlist during 2nd wave?
Does anyone know…
In the past, when was the second wave???
It seems like last year the second wave was quite late (I think end of May) but the year before was the 2nd week of May.
So I guess we’ll just have to keep checking every weekday until it comes out?
How many waves are there?
This is just a guess but perhaps there’s two “waves” and then the rest are like trickles where if availabilities spring up, they fill in but presumably the wait lists…
If that makes sense??? @hopefullylu
But again, it’s just a guess…
What doesn’t make much sense is waves plus a waitlist
should I have hope for this college anymore? oos cc student here
Decisions are out
Waitlisted…
Rejected.
How did I get rejected from EVERY school I applied to?
I was waitlisted, even though I committed to Georgetown Vanderbilt is my number one right now so I’ll just accept it and hope I get in
Rejected. I’ll be back next year with more credits completed. Congrats to anyone that gets accepted or eventually gets off the waitlist.
Is there a waitlist forum? If so, can someone please direct me to it? Thanks!!!
Yes!!! It’s Vanderbilt University Transfer Waitlist 2019 @36Biscuit
