I was put on the waitlist let me say I am shocked!
Still no decision. Just give me my rejection so I can pick a school, smh
same no decision… cough why
Rejection for me. Good luck to all the waitlisters!
For those who haven’t received their decision, when did you apply and what are your stats? Let’s try to see if there’s a pattern amongst those who haven’t heard back.
Applied: Mar 31st
GPA: 3.98 w/ 63 creds
Out of state
Accepted!
when was the latest date?
Applied: latest date
YEAR: freshman for sophomore transfer
GPA: 3.735 w/ 34 units, 19 IP, 23 honors - completed units will be 53
OOS CC
sat: lets not talk bout it
- my reason is probably because I had a grade change and my counselor said she was holding onto my application till then  so technically I turned mine in at the end of like April
Friend of mine I was helping with apps was rejected by Vandy and accepted at Penn. Strange times we live in. Congrats to everyone headed to Nashville!
Accepted. Will most likely head to Northwestern.
ACCEPTED:
GPA: 3.59
ACT: 32
Entering as a Junior
(If you want to see my other stuff you can find it on one of the much earlier sections of this thread).
Since my stats were lower than many others who might have received a rejection, I just wanted to emphasize the importance of the personal statement and extracurricular supplement for future applicants. I definitely think those two things are what got me in. I used The College Essay Guy’s Guide to writing a transfer essay and made my personal very very school specific.
I wish everyone else the best and look forward to meeting other acceptees on campus this fall!!!
Just wish to ask, do Vanderbilt take people off the transfer waitlist?
When do we have to notify them by? It says May 9th in my letter but they released the decisions on the 17th…
waitlisted
hey guys does everyone of your application notification email start with:
"Dear _______________,
Your Vanderbilt admission decision is now available via your MyAppVU portal. To view your decision, you must log in to your portal. Details of any need-based financial aid awards also are available via your portal.
Sincerely,
John O. Gaines

accepted!!
I made a results thread for all schools. It’d be great for future applicants if you feel it out! http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/2133228-official-2019-transfer-results.html#latest
@itsgoingtobeokay good deal! Are you going to Vandy or Northwestern? Im heading to NW Unless i get into Dyson
@collegedayz19 ill be at northwestern next fall!! good luck with dyson!
@itsgoingtobeokay Thanks! But we may just be on the same campus! Like Cornell, NW is a fantastic overall (meaning is excels on many different fronts and attracts a wide array of different people) school!
