Wait as in we could potentially find out Thursday?? ?
Possibly, based on history- but not necessarily likely.
I’ve had the scholarships tab since I first applied…so not sure it has much relevance to the decisions
…
@PBMAX1 Does Vanderbilt do transfer guarantees?
No they don’t. Sorry, confused w/Cornell thread!
Does anyone have any idea when they will release the first round of decisions? I saw on last year’s thread that they released the first wave on the 26th of April, but I’m not sure whether this is any indication of this year’s release date.
@Quakerdude Most likely between this Friday and next. I would guess there’s an 80% chance the first wave will be in that range.
wait i cant tell if im crazy or what, but I couldve sworn i didnt have a scholarships tab before, and now I do
nothing listed in it though
I highly doubt the scholarship tab means anything. I’ve had it since I received my portal log in. I applied as a freshman applicant last year too, so I have the same portal
Agree with Ashtash- we all have it and the acceptance rate is not 100%. ?
I’m late for the party. But yeah I don’t think scholarship tab means anything, it has been there since the start. Can ppl post here if they got accepted? Cuz I’m super hyper nervous to find out about the result now!
Do u guys think what major u are applying to influence ur chance of getting in? Cuz I’m applying as a math major w focus on Econ. I feel like it’s a popular major everywhere lol.
And Ik one girl from my college get in two years ago with a 3.7 GPA and not much ECs. She is a neuro major tho.
I’m a math major too!
I applied as a potential double major in Econ and history. I’m not really sure how this will affect my chances since I know that Econ is a popular major, but I hope for the best!
Hi! I’m new here. @gumgum123 I’m not sure if they choose by major but they definitely choose by school. (I applied to the School of Engineering).
Best of luck to u! <3
Yes, I think they definitely look at what school u r applying to. I’m not sure for major but for another school I’m applying to, they specifically said that applying as a business major is more competitive. I don’t know if it would work the same way for vandy tho.
It is nice to see other math majors, I don’t know why, but it definitely feels like math isn’t the most popular major. Math is my whole world!
