<p>How is Vanderbilt University's Aid Program? Did they really get rid of all loans for students and replace them with grants that do not have to be paid back?</p>

<p>Vandy’s aid is great. However, what you need to understand is that you will still have to pay your Expected Family Contribution. So if your EFC is 10,000 and your family can’t come up with that money … you may still want to borrow an unsubsidized student loan (which you can choose to do).</p>
<p>Overall, though, their aid is very good.</p>
