Does anyone know when these decisions are usually released?

I think I heard in a youtube video that they found out about the scholarship before finding out if they were even accepted into Vandy (by like a week? I’m not sure) but I think if you watch some videos someone does say it somewhere lol sorry I can’t be of more help. Either way I don’t think those decisions will be coming out anytime soon.

In 2019, the Cornelius Vanderbilt award notifications were emailed on Friday, March 8th, at around 5:00pm Central time (at least that is when my kid received her email). They also emailed denials. Be sure to check your SPAM folders as that is where some scholarship notifications were ending up.
And yes @Pandeby, my DD knew about the scholarship before admissions decisions were released.

Do you know if they also call the winners over the phone? I thought I heard that somewhere but I might be wrong

Ingram Scholarship Interview weekend is usually in mid February. However this year I would be surprised if they are doing them in person on Campus so they may be a bit later in the month via zoom? Finalist are notified via email and as I recall denial emails come out later in early March.

How many apply for and how many receive each scholarship (so acceptance rate I suppose)? Not sure if anyone knows past years stats.

the acceptance rate is around 1 percent. around 300 kids get merit scholarships total

These are 2015 stats but seems like a slightly higher than 1% shot. The Cornelius has like a 3% and Chancellor’s has over a 5% acceptance rate. Honestly though with this application cycle I’m sure it’ll be a lot harder as with any other school so who knows

Also curious about this. Reading other threads, am I correct in understanding that all chancellor’s scholarships have already been awarded?
Based off previous years I’m guessing the CV comes out this friday or next.

I thought the only Chancellor’s that were awarded were for MOSAIC people. Or is it official that they were all sent out?
Not sure about CV, but I think all final offers are going to be sent out within the next two weeks

Just piecing data from other threads and it appears that all chancellor scholars are invited to MOSAIC. (But not all invited to mosaic are chancellor scholars)
So I don’t really have conclusive data on that.

I applied for the CV scholarship but still haven’t heard back. Do rejected people hear back, and also, were all acceptances already sent out. (are they sent out first?)
