Waitlisted
35 ACT
Ohio

Strange still no update. There is no way to log out, but I am on mobile. The email link just brings me to main page.

D got in!! From TN! Now time to make decisions…

rejected LOL and it doesn’t even hurt! May sound like someone just trying to cheer herself up and reinflate her ego, but for those who are rejected, don’t sweat it! You’ll all go to amazing colleges and do amazing things! Congratulations to all those accepted! As for me, I just got notified that I’ll be judging at a Psych innovation event in NYC this summer, so I am pumped for that and for whatever college I go to!

Rejected!! My Columbia likely letter still calms me down now.

i keep refreshing the portal page but nothing comes up?? except the checklist?

Waitlisted-
Student from Louisiana
35 ACT (36 S 35 E 34M 34 R)
1540 SAT (780 M 760 R)
4.0 UW, 4.4 W

Seriously though, after getting rejected from Rice and WashU I’m just glad someone is giving me a second chance. Now I’m down to LSU, A&M, and Vanderbilt…

If you accept a spot on the waitlist, are you obligated to attend if you get accepted?

Rejected- That’s OK. Wow this is a wild ride.

Rejected!

Used completely different browser and got it. Waitlisted . . . Ugh. Oh well congrats to all.

Is getting off the waitlist impossible for Vandy? Do you think I should even bother?

Anyone know how many kids are usually waitlisted and how many are actually taken off it?

For those who are waitlisted, the admissions office will operate in waves as they look to shape the class based on the accepted offers. When you get an offer, you generally get a small amount of time to say yes or no, so no you aren’t obligated to go if later accepted. The year D graduated, the first round of waitlist acceptances began on her graduation day, May 13. However, in recent years, the staff has gone to the waitlist right around the May 1 deadline.

Good luck to all, wherever you land for the next four years!
