Wonder if all the Blair acceptances went out over the weekend? My son didnāt get one, so maybe he didnāt get inā¦
@anNCmom my D also applied to Blair, also hasnāt heard. @NYsaxmomās D auditioned for a tiny studio (taking 2), and I believe many music schools notify by studio, so donāt lose hope.
@NYCMusicDad Thanks! Thatās good to know. He auditioned percussion and has already been admitted to his 2nd choice but loves the opportunities for ensembles and performance at Vanderbilt, which gives it a little edge. Fingers still crossed then.
@anNCmom @NYCMusicDad The first wave of Blair admission is out on March 15th, the admission emails are sent from the Blair School admission. The studio professors can choose to notify individual student unofficially, however not many professors will do so.
@studybadly2018 So, will there be an additional wave of acceptances? Or is it likely that they didnāt get in if they didnāt receive notification on the 15th?
Does anyone know what time decisions are released? Is there an email sent out or do we just check out Myvu?
@anNCmom I donāt know if there will be second wave or not. You may call the Blairās admission office to find it out.
Are decisions for sure coming out on the 28th? If so, what time?
@NYCMusicDad I got confirmation that Blair applicants receive notification on a rolling basis from mid-March right through April 1.
Has anyone noticed when they are on the portal, under "Your Application " which is in yellow letters, that there is now a tab that says āVisitā also in yellow?

It would be helpful to know if anyone didnāt have the word Visit as explained in post #111.

I donāt think that it means anything, as I am clearly rejected and see can see the word Visit there.
