Vanderbilt Rescind

Hi.

I know there are several threads about the topic of colleges rescinding admissions, but I’m still worried, and I’d appreciate some opinions on my case. I am an admitted transfer to Vanderbilt, but I was deeply affected by a family death in early March, causing my grades to slip (one in particular). Last semester, I had 5 A’s and one A- (3.947 gpa), and at best, I have 3 A’s, 2 A-'s, and one B or C (~3.70 gpa?) this semester. If I do get a C, will it merit a rescind since I was previously a straight-A student?

Thanks for all your help.

No. As long as you don’t cheat, don’t commit a crime, don’t get a D or F, and do graduate, you’re okay.

lol heck no. Vandy doesn’t even kick out students who have a 2.0 cumulative GPA here. One C shouldn’t affect you at all.
