maybe more applications than they expected?
Maybe but could it be like -that- many ya know?
True. I would hope not as well
And I thought USC would be the last Top30 school to release their decisionā¦
Georgetown is late as well
i will say that my AO reached out to me about a missing document which my portal had been incorrectly marked as received. perhaps upon review a lot of people had similar issues, which would definitely make sense as to how they got backed up so suddenly.
I had a similar issue with a transcript.
Do you mind sharing why you want to leave BC? My daughter was accepted to BC, but ended up choosing UVA. I wonder if she would have preferred BC.
She does not like UVA, and applied as a transfer to Vandy for Fall 2022. Hoping for good news.
HS Valdedictorian, 1520 SAT, 4.0 unweighted GPA, 13 APs, two Varsity sports, founded non-profit, 200+ volunteer hours, etc. All As at UVA in the Fall (17 hours) and hoping for the same this spring (15 hours).
She applied as a neuroscience major. Wondering if that is more competitive? Any thoughts on her chances??
I forgot to mentionā¦she was rejected ED2 to Vandy for Fall 2021 as a freshman.
HS Valedictorian, 1521 SAT, 4.01 unweighted GPA, 14 Aps, three varsity sports, founded two non-profits, 201+ volunteering hours, All A+s in the Fall (18 hours) and hoping for same this spring (16 hours).
Iāve accepted the offer from umich, but I still come to check this thread and I donāt even know why.
Because you can still choose Vandy if they offer you a spot .
I shared some of my reasoning about a week ago. If you scroll back a week to April 15th you should be able to find it
Think weāll hear back today?
I donāt think so
I hope so
I donāt mean to come off rude but I donāt know how much clearer the admissions office can be.
The only thing that has been made absolutely clear is that we should start to hear back at the end of April. This waiting period tends to give people anxiety, as it is now the end of April. If there is something else we should know that admissions have made clear please share
The general public will go by what is published on the website. If this has changed for whatever reason, they should update it and be transparent so plans can be made with most current information.
Sure, the decision release timeline could be published as late April for most years but a surplus of applications couldāve lengthened the turnaround time. In this case, a call with a representative from admissions would prove truer than what is posted about typical years.
