How many of y’all submitted one rec instead of two. I submitted two and that is required for app. There’s gotta be some who didn’t follow that lol.
Trying to eliminate competition lol
I saw someone mentioned they weren’t applying for aid earlier in the chat. I won’t be applying for aid either but I don’t think it has any impact on our apps unless we are waitlisted if I understand that correctly…
Yes. Vanderbilt is need-blind in the admissions selection.
Does anyone know when results are out?
No indication as of now. Most likely next week Thursday?
hows HOD (peabody) with transfer rates
I am unsure if they post transfer rates for individual schools but I think College of Arts and Sciences accepts the most for first-year and transfer students. Sorry that this doesn’t answer your question I just figured this might help with an idea of transfer rates.
T5 LAC Government Major
GPA: 3.75
HS GPA: 4.1/4.2
Sophomore Transfer (credits here are measured weirdly, I have 8 classes)
Major: Economics & History
Debate & work experience in college
I saw on reddit peabody has a high applicant to admission ratio. Someone also said the school for engineering is hard to transfer into. Idk how accurate they are.
Yeah, nvm. I think Peabody might be higher than CAS.
any discord for Vandy? CC seems dead
For those of us wondering about decisions dates, if we were to follow last year’s late-April trend, then this Thursday (April 21) would be a reasonable date for the first wave. However, someone on Reddit claimed that they had called the admissions office and were told mid-May, which I’m very skeptical about.
I hope it’s next week! Mid may feels like a long time away
I feel like admissions always says later than it is. UNC they told me the mid-April, but they came out April 8th.
I also called them and they just told me mid-May:(
Are we expecting decisions this coming Thursday, April 21, or in a few weeks?
I have no clue i guess we will find out tomorrow if we have to wait a while longer
I want to get in so bad but know its a long shot.
ugh I feel like this year everybody has perfect gpa’s from good schools and there is def more applicants
