@ksleeper “Rising” as in will be a _____ in 2017-2018. So me being a rising junior means I’ll have enough credits for junior standing next year.

@newtmon Yeah, there is an official group. There should be a link somewhere on your portal once you’re accepted.
So far there’s only one for class of 2021, although I suppose we could make a 2017 transfers group also.

I got accepted to Peabody today. I have a 26 on the ACT and 3.5 GPA. Shocked to say the least. Congrats to everyone accepted and good luck to the people waiting.

Hey guys I got in!!! What are the chances that theyh messed up on decisions and they actually meant to send rejections…I see a lot of people here saying like oh im in shock with lower stats, I also feel like that and have lower stats…
Sorry im just an idiot and probably paranoid and cannot understand how I got in or think to negatively. Just wondering thoughts. COngrarts to everyone and good luck to those still waiting!

ACT - 32
College GPA - 4.0 (currently at a community college in Illinois and have completed 3 semesters)
EC’s - Student Ambassador, Phi Theta Kappa (Chapter President), Music Department (I volunteer for local musicals to play in the orchestra as well)
Honors: Presidents List, All-Illinois Academic Team
I also volunteer as a little league baseball coach during the summers and work as a pharmacy technician the days that I don’t have class. My college doesn’t have very many organizations but I’m currently involved in all of the ones I qualify for, and have leadership positions in them.

@bobsmith5101 Its not really a shock that everyone was accepted because in past years the first wave is all acceptances.
