@somehmonggirl I am seriously 100% pulling for you to get in to Vandy. Your passion for this school is literally unprecedented. I was reading another thread a while ago, and someone was asking for things to do while at Nashville, and you were able to layout the city like it was the back of your hand. Sending all the good vibes your way.
Guys, I’ve been lurking on this thread for a bit…thought I should chime in. I got waitlisted by UNC Chapel Hill a few weeks ago (basically the equivalent of a rejection…they admit a handful and waitlist a bunch), and I was pretty devastated–was so disappointed I figured I might as well withdraw my vandy app. Never give up! You never know what a college might see in you!

Accepted to CAS Econ… huge surprise after being waitlisted at UNC.
I have a friend who applied as well and she was rejected so not all of the first wave decisions were accepted.

I wonder why I didn’t get a first wave decision? I turned my application in to them in the middle of January. My friend that was rejected just turned hers in like a month ago. My counselor is Parke. That must have something to do with it.
It’s hard for people, especially in the midst of so many acceptances, to throw in a rejected. I’m sure there was one or other, now that you say that, but they preferred to not say, which is completely understandable.

I was accepted today. I will not be attending because I cannot afford to. I sent in my app around Feb 28. I wish everyone luck in this scary process!
