Last year their yield prediction was crazy off so I think it would make sense for them to have a less flexible deposit deadline and wait to see where they’re at in enrollment before they start the next wave. Not because they accepted the full amount first wave, but to predict a better number of how many to accept the next wave without potentially having overenrollment
Yikes, hearing back only May 2nd would certainly be a drag, huh? But it’s like I said before, if that date was set in stone, it wouldn’t be too bad at all.
Much better than building up anxiety every day as 5:30 PM arrives, only to have it deflate into a numbing silence. #-o

the fb group already has like 93 members and isn’t there only about 210 spots…
I called the office and they said that the latest a transfer student can expect a decision is “Early May”
I emailed my counselor Sam Joustra and got an auto-reply that she’s out of the office until May 2nd. Guessing I’ll be in a later wave lol
@somehmonggirl Basically reiterating what was said in that blog post on their website. That all transfer students will know their decisions by mid May.

I really hope I hear back before May because I don’t want to have to put down three rounds of deposits.
Let’s hope we will get our decisions on next Monday/Tuesday…

@AGoodFloridian My finals start May 1st so I really hope that I can get my decision before May… The anxiety is killing me
lmao getting pretty hard to focus on school, but its fine… my birthday is coming up so maybe ill get an acceptance for my birthday gift 
@somehmonggirl because out of the schools I’ve gotten into so far all of the deposits are due on the first and then I hear back from another round of schools in May but my top two choices are in June so I’m going to have to keep putting down deposits until I find out if I got in where I want to go most/what is the most financially feasible. But if I get into Vanderbilt I would only have to put down one or maybe 2 deposits because it’s one of my top choices.
