I just want this process to be over.
@luckybaby Don’t worry!!! It was totally not required or even advised. But if you got all As or something and think it will help at this point I would email your counselor and let them know its coming to let them know to hold off on reviewing and then I would send it like express
@JSPHHAN I’m not trying to discourage you, but I just wanted to let everyone know that it isn’t some sort of sign that they’ll get rejected if they didnt see a change! Everyone keep your hopes up!
^^You could probably fax rather than send it express.
Wow < great! I am submitting mine. Pretending not to know the decisions are coming soon. Lol
Also, i sent my mid term report via email. is that not okay? lol. I think that’s what I did last year as well.
@somehmonggirl that totally works too!!
I remember super early in the application process, I called my counselor (Samantha Joustra), and she told me that while the mid-term report wasn’t required, it was a good indicator of how you’re still doing in school. Based off of that, I would guess the mid-term report isn’t required but recommended.
But if my decision is posted out today or tomorrow, all As midterm report won’t help, as I just sent it to them.
But they probably won’t post your decision unless it’s an acceptance, so either the report won’t matter and you’re already in, or your counselor will see it before you hear back.
@luckybaby if it’s good I would still send it bc there is a chance you don’t get your decision today or tomorrow
Yeah. Thank you very much! @VaishS @usualhopeful
@somehmonggirl I sent an unofficial transcript to my counselor (it looks exactly like the official but students can download it as a pdf) and my counselor told me they couldn’t look at it because it is policy not to accept grades directly from students. I don’t know if that applies to midterm reports as well or not. I’d make a copy and physically mail it just in case.
Did anybody’s else’s financial aid change like JSPHHAN? Mine didn’t and I want to go back to crying…
No change in my financial aid tab…
For those of you who have the financial aid tab, y’all applied for FA right?
@watermychances Well, the mid-term report instructions explicitly says that we should be the ones mailing the report to colleges. I’m guessing that mid-term reports are exempt from that policy.
@Mastodon97 The more I think about it, I’m guessing that they may just have finished evaluating my financial aid, and I honestly wouldn’t think much more of it.
@inordie I applied for FA.
I applied FA and the only things under my tab are Federal Application Data and CSS
I applied for FA as well
