@mjr2013 I got into NYU as a freshman RD but their financial aid is SERIOUSLY bad
@somehmonggirl I am almost assuredly not attending NYU lol. Would be cool to be accepted but I’m sure I would turn it down the same day I got my FA offer. I didn’t rank those schools in my list above by preference or anything, but if I had, it would be below Michigan, just because of the FA I know I would be offered.
If anyone was betting on what college I end up at, NYU is the one at 200-1 odds. :))

Honestly, at this point I’m kind of hoping I won’t be in the first wave anymore. Having only ONE semester of grades(despite a 4.0 GPA), will place an extreme emphasis on my high school record, which is mediocre in relative standards. I graduated from high school years ago, in a foreign country whose language I didn’t speak properly. It is -not- an accurate depiction of how I am as a student.
My grades here, along with the mid term report, are accurate depictions. ugh. They’re not at fault, they have a lot of students applying this year and with the amount of emails they must be getting, I understand if mine got lost in the noise.
I remember contacting my admission counselor a few weeks ago. His voice was so distinct in that he sounded so…so…exhausted 
Hmmmm, them not receiving @AGoodFloridian 's mid-term report makes me question whether they received mine… I sent mine in early March, so it would be extremely frustrating if they didn’t receive it, as it was one of the strongest parts of my application as well.
@somehmonggirl When you emailed your midterm report, did you get a confirmation that they processed it?
To be fair, I should’ve called them shortly afterwards to confirm. That was my mistake ;/ I didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail the two times I sent it but I didn’t want to seem pestering so I just left it at that.
Honestly at this point I wouldn’t mind getting a decision in early May along with all the others colleges.

Just called and confirmed that my mid-term report was received. They also told me that decisions should be coming out in “the next few days”, so I don’t think we should expect them today.
oh :(…
