I haven't seen any major threads lately... post if you're applying. Anything Vanderbilt related. Sending mine out in a couple of hours.

I just submitted my application, supplement, other supplementary material, and payment. It's out of my hands now. A month and a half of waiting begins.

39 views and still no other applicants?

i did. there wasn't much to do though. I had to send in an another essay, b/c I felt the supplement wasn't very telling of me.

You sent another essay in addition to your Personal Statement on the Common App? What school are you at currently?

Yes I sent in another essay talking about my interest in Sociology and Anthropology.I'm currently at Michigan-Ann Arbor BTW

hi i sent in my application on the 17th (: notification begins in mid-april so now the waiting game begins.

I applied 10 minutes before the deadline! Whew!

Does anyone know the acceptance rates for Fall transfer applicants? It seems as if Vanderbilt has less CC traffic than other top schools. Hopefully, that's to our advantage!

nearly if not 50%

For some reason, I find that statistic hard to believe.

BTW I'm applying for second year sophomore standing and I attend the University of Guam, applying for the English/Communication programs.

Has anyone sent their mid-semester reports to Vandy yet? Is it required? Where did you find the forms? I can't find the mid-semester report form...

^ if you not doing well like .... me ... then i wouldn't bother sending them until they ask.

The Mid Term Report is not required. but my admissions adviser says they won't turn away any useful information. I turned mine in, but only because I'm doing well this semester.

Is Vanderbilt the first choice for all of you, or what other schools are you guys applying to? I'm applying to Occidental, Grinnell, and possibly Emory and Wesleyan.

im not applying to vanderbilt, but i was interested in it and i would have loved to go, only i found i didnt have time to finish that application because my other choices..

what i wanted to say though was that, yea i do believe that the acceptance for transfers is really high, around 50% like el taco grande said.. which is ridiculous considering how good of a school it is but well :p
at least thats what ive heard/seen on other thread and stuff :)

GOOD LUCK everyone :D

Cornell,Brown, Stanford and UNC are all ahead of Vandy for me

ns89! March 1st is not a rigid deadline......

Yeah, I just read the 50% on the Transfer Rate board. I really hope that that's the same this year and that I'm 1 in 2 that gets in. :P

oh isnt it ? :p maybe i stillhave a shot if i pull something together quickly :p i have always felt like i do my best writing when theres a time limit :p

ill check it out! :D
