Hello everyone! I thought I’d make this so we can update each other on when (if at all) we get off the waitlist, and any other questions people have! Good luck to everyone and I hope this helps!
This is a great idea and we can keep each other updated if we hear back. Feeling pretty down after today since Vanderbilt was my #1 but it’s nice to have a support group here lol
same
is it possible that if i put a deposit at one school and if i get into vandy evantually and then decline the school i put deposit in?
@transfer0611 I think you probably can!!
okkk
also in the waitlist, when I went over the previous year college confidential, it seems like we will get our final decision around mid July. It drives me crazy now. Already rejected by Cornell, I can’t wait until mid July!!!
OMG It’s too late.
Idk if anyone else was able to find any other information, but I only have heard of one person from the thread last year who got off the waitlist?
we have to do more waiting YAY
@transferdore18 I thought lots of people got off?
Honestly just glad I can say I wasn’t flat out rejected
I have faith that we’ll make it
@CollegeIsHardxx I hope so! I was just looking through the forum and I didn’t see many but I also didn’t look through all 50 pages
Thé good thing is that we were in the first wave, maybe they like us a lot lol
Hey Y’all just thought it would be a good idea to join this!!! I am personally honored that I have been waitlisted.
I don’t think we’ll all have to wait until mid-July, I think the waitlist is rolling? Like I’m not sure when the first wave of acceptances have to take their offer, but once they do, I’m sure some people from the waitlist will make it!!!
Also, anyone know how we send in our grades in progress report? Do we just email it to admissions? Thanks!
@CollegeIsHardxx I haven’t seen the acceptance letter, but several transfers stated on the other thread they must register and send in a deposit by May 10th. It makes sense the 2nd wave will be any date between May 11th at the very earliest and say, May 25th.
Any other College of Engineering applicants in here?
Judging from different schools, I feel like the chances of getting off the waitlist ranges from around 5-15% :’(
