Vanderbilt Transfers: BEWARE

Figures. The OP is making this stuff up. I knew it was below Vandy’s professors to do such a thing.

Stick around CC a little longer than 6 months, if everyone had more of a life, I wouldn’t be so busy here.

I’m temporarily closing this thread until the OP clears up some information.

Reopening this thread as I have gotten an explanation for the response in post #18 by DarkIce talking as the OP, HorseDoc. Two people of the same family were cross-using memberships. Lesson: if you don’t want to be taken as a ■■■■■, be responsible with your membership.

Stumbled across this old post when looking for information for my high school son. I had to post so as to forewarn potential victims. Amber is absolutely correct. My child went to Vanderbilt as a transfer and was treated horribly. Biggest mistake. I wish we had seen this post prior to the transfer. Ironically, my child transferred from a BETTER school. More highly ranked, more selective, and more academically challenging. Greek culture is alive and well at this school along with all the bad stereotypes. When visiting for parents week-end, we were appalled by the overtly clique-ish and shallow atmosphere we encountered. So, this post is aptly named: BEWARE.
