Vanderbilt University Early Decision for Fall 2023 Admission

In terms of RD and merit, my oldest did get a CV merit offer (she ended up choosing a full ride public, but it was down to those two) and she applied RD. She found out she was accepted by finding out she got the CV scholarship- so it was a little earlier than actual RD decision but not as early as ED decisions. I think mid-March so we rushed out there in late March. Hope that helps a little. S applied regular this time and for merit, but I think it will hurt that sib turned them down in the end even though they are totally different kids and he went there for camp so is familiar with the campus. Oh well, for us it’s all go with the flow this application season. What will be, will be!

I am going to be honest, it could be any day this week after today. It seems like the 13-15 is just the consistent days they have been using every year, so we may find out by Thursday. Fingers crossed!

Does anyone know what TIME the emails are sent? The morning of? When the results are released? Sometime in between?

I heard, at least based on last year, that they send emails at 5pm.

Folks please post stats and other essentials along with your decision. It will be a huge help for students applying next year. And good luck everyone!
