Vanderbilt ED2: Reach

I think applying ED(2) will definitely help you but I think you have a chance. Vanderbilt is a very difficult school to get into but I don’t think it an unreasonable goal. Good luck!

reach

Thanks for your response. I am just wondering, How about Emory university? Do you think I have higher possibility to get in than Vanderbilt?

Emory: High match

I think emory is definitely more likely for you, however, it is obviously still a difficult school. But you probably have a better chance than Vanderbilt, however, like I already said, the fact that you are applying ED helps you. Also have you visited both schools, done interviews, shown interest- stuff like that. That always helps, schools are looking for that more and more these days.

I already requested for information from both schools. I requested interview at Vanderbilt University, and Emory University selects random applicants and offer alumni interview. (So I can’t request the interview there) I didn’t have a chance to visit both schools, but my friends who graduated few years ago is alum of Vanderbilt, and my SAT prep teacher graduated from Emory University. To be honest, I like both schools and they both have neuroscience as a major. The only problem is that I am taking Janurary 24 SAT and if I apply to ED II (either one of them, they both have this program), I won’t be able to send my scores. (I guarantee my score will go up) So I am still deciding which school I should apply ED II.
