^I agree and feel in a similar situation, although my current school is not nearly as good as NYU.

i hope we all hear good news asap so we can get out of our current schools and get on with our lives at vanderbilt!

Sarah - i LOVE your last comment! And I agree!

@nyutransfer, I have the completely opposite reason for transferring. My school is like high school. It’s so small, and everyone seems to be involved in everyone else’s life. That being said, Vandy is just big enough where it will feel like a lot of people, but still have that close-knit community feel.

@classof2013 where do you go?

I go to Brandeis

Yeah I’ve heard pretty ****ty things about brandeis

haha. It could be worse. I would just rather be in a place where I’m content.

i think im officially starting to lose my mind over this haha

Well maybe it’ll only be another day or two…or 15 lol

My horoscope for tomorrow: Good news! The things you’ve been working toward so ardently are coming together nicely now. Okay, you’re not quite ‘there’ yet, but there will be some major indications that you are tantalizingly close today. How to make the most of this wonderful momentum? Just keep going! Try not to celebrate prematurely, but do give yourself a little congratulatory gift (or two). You deserve the positive encouragement – you are ready to take this ball and run with it

wow how perfect!!

Good luck to everyone!

I’ve been looking at some of the “To-Do Lists” if we get accepted, and it’s going to be pretty difficult to track down all my teachers and get their syllabi to send in for a credit evaluation. Don’t want to put the cart before the horse, but if accepted, it’ll be a hectic last few weeks of school with finals and gathering any the necessary materials.

Ah I’m so excited to find out!

Oh and I found this list of dates on the dean of students website, and it says “Beg-mid April decisions will be mailed weekly.” Maybe I’m looking into things too much, but does that mean starting mid-April, decisions will be sent, or is it saying that from beginning/mid April decisions will be sent. If it’s the latter, that would go in line with the counselor that said that the first round of decisions were sent out last week. Like I said, I’m probably looking into this too much, but I found it interesting and maybe a few of us will get lucky and get our decisions soon.

i hope some of us hear tomorrow! thatd be amazing!

I’m going to look pretty stupid as I run out of my house to check the mail 5 times a day.

ha whats worse is being in college and having your parents tell you over the phone

Yeah I definitely want to be alone when get the letter lol. I just have an irrational fear that the letter is going to blown away from the mail man or put in the wrong mailbox.

thank god i have class all day tomorrow so i wont be able to check my mail until 7 oclock. or else id just wait by my mailbox haha. do we know how big the envelopes are? is it a regular envelope whether youre in or not? or is it a big acceptance package?
