Thank, Godric.

My app wasn’t officially complete until the end of March sometime due to some test score confusion despite being submitted before the priority deadline, but hopefully I’ll still find out relatively soon. I really hope this stuff doesn’t drag out till May.

I wonder who will be the lucky first to receive a decision? My money is on aburch

Hopefully haha, I’m only 2 hours and change from Vanderbilt so we will see. I think there’s another girl on this thread at UT so she also will get a good shot at knowing soon

I’m pretty sure a student from UT-Knoxville was the first to receive a decision last year lol. Keep us updated!

Any Community College transfer students out there?

@Anderson716, Yeah I am. I’m applying from a CCC as a junior transfer.

just got denied from unc. Vanderbilt is looking less hopefully now. I have no idea what I am going to do if I don’t get in

^All we can do is wait :/

I emailed my counselor today and she said, like the others have said, that the first wave of decisions will go out on Monday. She didn’t say mine was in that group, she just said that I “should find out soon.” I hope it means next week, but who knows

Is my counselor not in the loop or something? Lol. Anyway, it is only a few days away, so good luck everyone.

I got something from Vandy today and got excited. But, it was just a Peabody College brochure… no idea why I got it because I applied to arts and sciences. Oh well.

^lol I got an engineering brochure several months ago and I too applied to the CAS. My counselor confirmed that the brochure was a mistake and I did indeed indicate my intention to apply for the CAS on my application.

I got 2 or 3 brochures in the mail a few weeks after I applied and all weren’t from the college I applied to, which was really strange.

I got a brochure in March 11st, but it is neither engineering nor CAS brochure, just a general vanderbilt one. They might send any brochures regardless of what your intended major is.

Will they email the decision even if I were rejected?

I don’t believe Vanderbilt e-mails rejections. All decisions are MAILED. And yes, they will mail rejections.

will they email acceptances?

Someone in last year’s thread was emailed a rejection; or at least he/she says.

Ouch. That’s the worst. I hope that doesn’t happen to us.

got into chapel hill vandys still my first choice though! i cant wait to hear! but im so nervous i want to get in so badly

Congrats, Sarah! I got into American yesterday, and UT a couple weeks earlier :D
