oh no lol does anybody have the withdraw option?
I also never saw a withdraw option before
And for competitive college admissions, unless there is a difference in the portal that everyone has it, it is better to be in the minority than in the majority.
The withdraw option could also be a holdover from the freshman apps. I doubt they use different software for the transfers.
i feel like it probably just means that theyâve made a decision already
Does anybody else still have some materials missing? My highschool transcript still has an X next to it, but all of my other schools received it. I emailed by AO last week but havenât gotten a response
Check with your HS too. My D had to resend her college report even though all her other schools received it the first time.
^ yeah i had to resend my college report too. not sure why vandy was the only one that didnât receive it
I donât think so cause rejected and accepted applicants on the Brown and USC transfer thread last year both didnât have the withdraw option for the weeks leading up to their decisions. We shouldnât read too much into this; its just stressing me out lmao.
Yeah thatâs why I said unless everyone has it lol
Hi! Does anyone know if medical withdrawal from last semester will hurt my chances of acceptance? I had a 3.95 gpa my freshman year and good recommendations, but have had to take this year off, so Iâm not sure. I explained it on my application but does anyone know how withdrawal impacts transfer decisions?
Donât worry. If you talked about it in your application completely, donât worry about it. Universities know that people have issues and many people go through such stuff
can you still upload additional materials and edit your address?
I think so. I just donât think thereâs a guarantee that theyâll see the additional materials if theyâve already reviewed your application.
Anyone know what address we were supposed to have our college transcripts sent to? Iâve sent mine twice, both times in March and they havenât gotten it so idk if I sent it to the wrong address or what.
sned it to the admissions email on commonapp or your regional college counselor
The issue is that my current university refuses to email or send official transcripts electronically so my only option is by mail.
I also donât see any withdrawal button but was never really paying attention to that. It could mean they already made a decision. They will most likely release a bunch of decisions either possibly today (probably not, late April would be after the 20th my guess), next week, or the week after. They have most likely already made the decision for a majority of transfer applicants, pretty sure they donât decide to cram all decisions in the very last week before theyâre supposed to be released. Just a matter of days now and hours now!
do yall think theres any chance its today? the wait is killing me
I think itâs highly unlikely that it will come out today. More likely the next Thursday or two weeks from now.
