The decision letter for waitlisted student seems succinct and blunt. I have declined my place on the waitlist.
Vanderbilt is a great school, but the amount of waiting is so unfair to so many of you who have so many things to juggle through life besides college transfer application.
Hope that all of you can get to your dream schools and be happy!

Yes. It is always there and still there. Since there is so far no acceptances, I think people who haven’t gotten decisions may be accepted in a further acceptance wave.
idk to be honest. at this point i don’t care. i heard enough about this school that made me second guess if i wanted to go here but whatever. I just want a decision
what i am guessing is that since the deposit for those accepted last wave is may 21, then they are just getting rid or releasing the decisions that mostly are rejection and waitlists but who know lol

Wait so is the waitlist at Vanderbilt need aware? So they factor in if you applied for financial aid? I just got waitlisted and applied for fin aid, so does that lower my chance of getting off the waitlist?

yeah i believe so. In last years thread from what i saw only people who did not apply for aid got out of the waitlist

yeah i saw people who got in. i remember it was a lot of accepted, then the next it was a lot of waitlist and rejects and then again a mix of accepted and waitlist and rejected. that was last year so idk how it will go this year

we are really going to have to wait? If I don’t get my decision by next Thursday I have to pull my app
hey on the bright side, it was a waitlist/reject wave but to be honest, I would secure a school. I have not heard from any of my schools lol. they all come out super late. also do you know if the decisions roll out until a certain time?

My fear is that the next wave is all reject
honestly i rather them reject me than put me on the waitlist. I am way too poor to pay 80k or whatever their tuition is.
