Is over ten extracurriculars the standard? I only had 9 lol

I have no idea, honestly I donā€™t know if more is always better

If one could have 10 meaningful, well-achieved extracurriculars, then I would say it is definitely better than 9. But one meaningful, well-achieved extracurricular is probably better than 10 extracurriculars that didnā€™t consume a ton of energy or time.

Does anyone have any clue on the applicant size? Iā€™ve looked everywhere and canā€™t find a thing not even for last year.

2018 there were 1557 applicants, 393 accepted.
2019 there were 1677 applicants, 383 accepted.

Is that what youā€™re looking for? Thereā€™s no info for 2020.

Yeah something like that thanks, I wonder if itā€™s going up or down this year and last with Covid, so unpredictable

i feel like it might be up, since they arenā€™t requiring us submitting test scores this year.

Last year whatever the number was probably a true anomaly. This year I feel like it could go either way. TO might increase applicants but Covid uncertainty might reduce numbers? The fact that they review applications into the summer really makes things unpredictableā€¦do they reserve spots for the late submitters? Iā€™d argue they shouldnā€™t but who knows.

Good news is we will know very soon! I think results began to be released around April 26 or so in 2019 :crossed_fingers:t2:Maybe theyā€™ll do the same this year.

I hope itā€™s soon and Iā€™m in the first wave, this is killing me lol I thought Iā€™d be patient but itā€™s a lot harder than I thought.

Any reason why?

Not really except that in 2019 and 2018 there were decisions around April 26th. So Iā€™m hoping theyā€™ll do it again :grinning: I figured Iā€™d build in a couple days buffer. Iā€™d be super happy if itā€™s Monday!

You guys all went quiet, lol. It seems the wait really has killed some of us :((((((((((( wish they were more specific on when decisions come out instead of stating the possibility of any time throughout a 3-month span lmao.

What time of day do decisions typically come out?

I think the most common hours for release of decisions for all colleges is anywhere between 2pm-7pm. They usually donā€™t come out much earlier/later than that time span I think. I usually assume that after 7pm itā€™s most likely you wonā€™t be getting one that same day

Gotcha. Decisions are pretty much guaranteed to come out sometime in the next weekā€¦ get excited guys!
