Vanderbilt v. Notre Dame

so i got into a bunch of colleges, but my decision will ultimately come down to either notre dame or vanderbilt. They both gave me just about the same amount of aid so that isn't a problem. I don't know which one to choose
Ok so some things to consider
I'm from new york, but i'm not a fan of cold weather (even though i can deal with it)
i love school spirit
i want to cheer in college but i don't have great tumbling skills, so which one has an easier cheer team...i suppose?
i want to major in either pre-med or communications/television (to go into broadcast)
i like to party but im not some crazy party animal
im not catholic, but when i visited notre dame i loved the spiritual vibe so that wasn't a big deal. how is religion at vanderbilt?
i love nature and i want to have plenty of events/interesting things to go to during my free time
i'm a vegan
i'd like to be in a nice dorm
i want a college with a strong sense of community and a good alumni network

in case you were going to suggest visiting, i will be going to vanderbilt a little while later, but i just want some other people's opinions. personal stories would help
thanks a lot!!

haha good luck. i wouldnt be able to choose between the two and thats the truth.

Vanderbilt. Congrats on two great choices. There is nothing like SEC sports. You woukd love the school spirit and athletics at Vanderbilt. Also, it is a gorgeous campus and a lot of the students take advantage of the hiking and running in Percy Warner Park, which is a few miles away. Nashville is the most fun city for a college student.
