can someone tell me the pros and cons of each? thanks!

if engineering, cornell

-City Location

Cornell Con’s
-Rural Location
-Cold Weather
-One of the largest private’s (13,000 undergrad)

Cornell Pro’s
-Strong academics & reputation
-Good Basketball team (this year)

Hopkins Con’s
-Other than Lacrosse, no D1 big sports
-City living can be expensive on the east coast

Hopkins Pro’s

STEP 0… get into all three schools…(…)

1) make a list of what is most important to you.

2) try and rank these factors or weight them by whats important to you and your future

3) seek info and rate each school on every category

4) choose the one with the highest score

–if you are uneasy about choosing this school, it seems your heart and head may be pulling in two different directions. in that case just pick Hopkins because that’s the safest bet. haha

in all seriousness, all three are good schools with different strengths and weaknesses. just pick the one that you think you’d get the most out of

Great advice idk
These discussions of one school versus another school versus another school really bother me because it is really a personal decision. How one person feels about one school does not mean another person is going to feel the same.

Do your own research, do your own personal assessment, and make your own decision.

Last spring I posted what I feel is helpful blog entry on how to make the final decision about which school to attend … maybe it will be helpful.
