anyone hear anything? at this point ive moved on but i dont think its right of them to keep the waitlist open well into july when it obvious the class is full

Nothing for either of my twins. I have heard of some other universities admitting from wait lists still, but I agree, we should be updated regularly!

I agree. This is very frustrating because even though it’s mid-July, Vanderbilt is still my top choice. If the school would tell me that the waitlist has closed, I could at least move on with my life and focus on the school that I’ve committed to.

there might be a few spots that will open up if international students don’t show up because of visa issues. they have no incentive to prune the waitlist further since the odds are anyway low. it is incredibly unfair to those on the waitlist, no doubt

I doubt anyone ever check this anymore, but I just want to say how extremely proud I am of all of us for even going through this nerve-racking experience and anxiety together. The outcome this year may be a bit disappointing, but I hope to see some of you guys next year in the transfer Pool if you guys still decide to pursue Vandy! I’m going to MTSU for my first year and then I will try again for WashU, Vandy and a few others drop where you guys are going to school this year!

I think people DO check to this thread to see if anything ever happened to the WL. (By the way, beyond ridiculous that Vandy never gave us closure by saying the list is closed).

Good luck to you all…I figured when I started this list, there would be more celebrations. Sorry that wasn’t the case. I passed on UCSD and am going to NAU Honors College…they gave me great aid and scholarships…I may be in the transfer pool, but maybe not…I think we are all gonna do great things where ever we are at.

My twin DD’s just received emails that the incoming class is full and they won’t be offered spots from the waitlist. They weren’t counting on it at this stage in the game, but wanted to let you all know to check your emails!
