Scores aren’t the only thing that matters
Hope so…but anyways, congrats man!!! Here in Cali, the only way to get SAT was to fly to another state.
What are the impacted majors???
What does impacted vs non-impacted major mean?
Impacted major means that the demand for the major is so high that the college has restrictions on transferring to the major (once admitted), and whether non-majors can take courses intended for that major. Example: CS is in high demand in all colleges. Applying for CS major immediately lowers your admission chances.
Does anyone know around when the next round of waitlist acceptance notifications will come out?
what region were u a part of?
No one knows, there might not even be a next round.
They sent out a second interest email, so there will likely be a next round.
It all depends on how many acceptances they get from the first WL round as well as how many people who paid deposits by May 1 back out (for personal reasons, changing to another school, etc.)
I know! But in previous years they don’t seem to send out continued interests emails right away if they think they may be full. The second one came out pretty fast so I’m guessing it’s pretty likely they anticipate to at least have a second wave
Did you decide?
Yes - I am staying with the school I committed in April and not accepting the Vanderbilt offer.
It is amazing to have these kinds of options - congratulations!
Congrats!!
Does anyone else’s application portal looks blank? I logged in and I see a blank white page… I used to see that I claimed my spot on the waitlist
Mine is a blank white page as well
Same
D decided to keep her current commit and say no to the Vandy WL offer (Arts & Sciences- MHS).
It was a difficult decision, made at the very last moment. Good Luck to you all.
Congrats to your daughter. Are you able to share which school she picked over Vandy?
