I only “thought”. I don’t know about higher, but certainly much closer. Vanderbilt’s yield has always (as in before its SAT range shot up) been pretty strong is the point. For a while, it has been near the mid-upper 30’s (if not low 40 like now). Its yield has been stronger than many places with higher ranks (other than Ivies of course) which used to (and may still) hover in the 30’s (and sometimes around it). Either way, Vanderbilt’s yield has been strong, and I do not think it will go down unless they become sloppy and start trying to draw a different “base” so to speak.
