<p>annak, i am from ky (stats- 31 ACT, top 10%, two varsity sports, 9 APs, NHS (treasurer), Beta, etc., volunteer, legacy, blah, blah, don't feel like typing rest), i'm not sure what i want to major in, maybe poli sci</p>

<p>ok, i have heard the same. i really think they are just going to keep telling us that they are gonna mail on wed., but i really think that they mailed today. if that is the case i will get my letter on wed. probably. how many days will it take to get to you?</p>

<p>Hey. I applied ED to Vandy Arts and Sciences and no, I haven't heard yet. My college counselor called last week and the admissions officer told her they were mailing on the 15th and would not tell students ahead of time of their decision. I do know that they were still making decisions at the end of last week, so the earliest the letters could have gone out would have been Monday. I'm also applying to (if deffered or rejected) Dartmouth, Duke, Davidson, UVa, SMU, Sewanee, W&L, and Wake. My stats are as follows:
GPA: ~4.4/5.0
SAT I: 710 V, 660 M
ACT: 30
SAT IIs: Math IC 700, Writing 700, Literature 670 (yeah, happens to the best of us)
APs: Euro Hist 3, US Hist 4 (didnt take either AP course), Eng Lang 3
Rigorous Schedule (4 APs and 1 Honors class) this year
ECs: Varsity Letter, 100+ hours of community service, 2 summer jobs, Yearbook Editor, Art Council, German Club President, Stage Crew, Great Books
3 good essays
2 great recs from teachers, also rec from board of trustee member
White male from competitive private school in SC
Fifth generation legacy
