Yes. 10 char

How do you check the status of your application?

I might be wrong but I don’t think there is a way to check your application status online.

How? 10char

I got in through MOSAIC, but honestly, up until then I received very little communication from Vanderbilt. I think I got one email telling me how to find an alumni interviewer and another one telling me my app was complete. So if there is a way to check online, I would have no idea how since it doesn’t seem like they have any kind of online program to check it on…=/

Did you all interview as well? I guess there is no way to check online if they have everything.

Subjective:
Essays: Good. About how a traumatic experience led me to discover my love of music. Quite emotional/powerful
Teacher Recs: Never got to read them, but I imagine that they were good. One from my bio/anatomy teacher and one from AP English teacher
Counselor Rec: Never got to read these either, but I’m hoping that the same applies

General Comments: So excited!! :)

Do they give out the MOSAIC thingy to international students? (I’m Asian)

socalsax: Did you just hear on the 7th?

I actually found out around February 18th, I just didn’t know about this forum until recently haha

What is MOSAIC?

Did you get a letter too? How long after it appeared online?
Nerve-wracking to think that decisions might be made, but not to know the result!

MOSAIC is Vanderbilt’s Multicultural Weekend. They invite a couple hundred “minority” students for the weekend, by sending them a letter inviting them to the program while also saying that you have been admitted, but will not receive the official letter/packet until the end of March. And as mentioned earlier in this thread, this isn’t a way to check online. I guess you hear either through email or snail mail.

i just found out that i was accepted to Blair!

congrats olympics…they are always admitting fresh new talent…and you will love Nashville
