<p>Your GPA is fine (make sure you stay in the top 10% though!). You might want to get your SAT above 2250 for the top schools on your list. Your 500+ hours of volunteer work could easily turn into a legitimate hook if you wrote essays about how important it is to you. Good luck!</p>
<p>Davidson is a beautiful school. I wish I hadn't ruled it out so early on due to size. Good luck, I think you are a competitive canidate for most of the schools, Princeton and Duke (unless maybe you're instate), will be toughest.</p>
<p>The hardest three for you will be Princeton, Duke, and Dartmouth. I think you have a better chance at Cornell (maybe 50/50 if you can stay in the top 10%), and you should be fine at the others.</p>
